Carrie VanSlyke is a versatile classical musician, adept at performing both within symphony orchestras and alongside some of the world’s top musical acts. Carrie has graced stages worldwide, from the Sydney Opera House to Cincinnati’s Music Hall. She has spent several summers performing in both the Aspen and Banff Music Festivals. Since 2014, she has been a regular performer with Symphony Nova Scotia and has collaborated with popular artists such as Rod Stewart, Nelly Furtado, Weezer, and Josh Ross.
In 2024, after over a decade in Nova Scotia, Carrie relocated to Nashville with her family. Carrie holds degrees in Viola Performance from the College Conservatory of Music in Cincinnati and McGill University. Outside of music, she enjoys hiking, baking, reading, and biking with her husband Jeremy and their two young sons.
